Let's start from our beloved country,
Indonesia--- what about your name, is it part of your cultural family
tradition or not?

In Indonesia itself there's more than 300 ethnic group that could making so many differences in
naming traditions.
From my own name, you will notice an Islamic name. Moreover, if
you could see my betawinese family member's name. A lot of them is using
Islamic name.
I think these are part of my betawinese family tradition.
So, there’s also a tradition in my Javanese family (not a close
family actually) like this-- So each child is named according to the birth
order from the sanskret number :
- Eka = First
- Dwi = Second
- Tri = Third
- Catur = Fourth
- Panca = Fifth
This one is from Indian culture, Parth Patel from Quora explain about naming culture in his region of northwest India. Which have my interest on their naming tradition.
“So you have a given name, a middle name, and a family name.”

A given name
Patel
explain given name is just like any other given name, the name to specify you.
But, the first letter is generally based on your horoschope. Patel is a virgo, so his name start with a P, T, or N.

A middle name
The
middle name is always father's name. When a girl marries into a family, her
middle name becomes her husband's name.
A last name
Sometimes,
last names also denote the job the family used to have. So for example, Patel
is a name for the village leaders, and people who own land, indicating a
wealthier caste..
