Why John Gray Write This Book?
This book is not based on opinion but based on 25,000 participants questioned on relationships and many are counselled directly by writer.
The writer has clearly written that he consciously did research to understand this.
In the introductory section, the writer is explain a parable/imagery about two different specimens. The first one is Men and they are living at Mars or can be called Marstians. And the Women are from Venus or Venusians.
But, they are have so many differenccies. When Marstians preferring companion life, everything is doing with cooperation.
Then the Venusians tend to use feeling and more like to build an advance infrastructure on their planet. (John Gray, 1992, cp. 1)
According to astrological theory, the planet mars indicates the qualities such as stubbornness, hardship, hard work, adventure, pride, risk taking, gamble, free will, dominance and dynamism. Since men are said to be showing these qualities in them, that makes it say that the men are from Mars.
And the planet Venus symbolizes love, sensuality, affection, sacrifice compromise, homeliness, food, music, art, festivities, colors and variety. And since the women said to be possessing these qualities in them, that makes it say that the women are from Venus.
Without an understanding that men and women are supposed to be different, it is such a temptation to think men shouldn’t be “that way” or women shouldn’t react “that way.”

Everyone have their own based opinion. For myself this book clearly could help many people with their relationship problem. Even the writer said in his book.
